As a woma...I think this is a very interesting stat. As a woman in IT I think it has validity. There are some strong elements of Asian culture that allow women to be successful in IT such as strong Introversion and analytical abilities. Although I am a Caucasian I also have those qualities to a high-degree. However, when programming became more complicated I focused more on design and UX. I still struggle with programming. I find it too dry. Many of the men in IT are on the spectrum so they enjoy hyper-focusing. No program can socially re-engineer human beings and their personality traits.
