A Difference Between Western Culture and Chinese Culture

The conflicts in the Middle East and elsewhere have produced hundreds of thousands of refugees. According to a report by Deutsche Welle, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann have opened the German and Austrian borders to welcome thousands of such refugees who were stranded in Hungary; in the above photo are the refugees arriving in Munich. According to a report by "The Economist", approximately 800,000 refugees will seek asylum in Germany. According to a report by YLE, Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipilä has offered one of his homes in northwest Finland as temporary housing for the refugees.

Such is the compassion of the Westerners.

By contrast, the Chinese routinely send North-Korean refugees back to torture and death in North Korea. According to a report by the "Sydney Morning Herald",

China routinely repatriates North Korean defectors, [labeling] them economic migrants. This directly contravenes United Nations refugee conventions, given defectors face imprisonment and torture if returned.

Such is the animal-like brutality of the Chinese.

If there is a compassionate life force (also known as the Christian God or Buddha) that pervades all living things, then it surely condemns the Chinese people.
